A post I wrote for [livejournal.com profile] customers_suck, because DAMN all my customers took their stupid pills yesterday.

Attention gas station customers:

Your gasoline goddess is most displeased. )

If you cannot handle any of this, please enlighten her as to how you manage to stand upright and breathe, let alone have your license, because you are clearly so stupid Darwin should have caught up with you long ago.

First off, sympathy to the wrestling fans on my friendslist over Eddie Guerrero's death. I've been there; I still vividly remember when Kevin Smith died (no, not that one, the other one). It sucks a lot harder than you'd think it would.

On a lighter note, today I visited [livejournal.com profile] peaseblossom03 and [livejournal.com profile] twistor to watch the Pats game with them. They both know stuff about football, and I don't, so it was part visit part tutorial. At one point, [livejournal.com profile] twistor and I got into a lengthy argument discussion about the validity of the Win statistic as a measure of a pitcher's worth. My position: It's a load of crap. His argument: Is not! Funny, I thought mathematicians were supposed to be smart and stuff. ;)

My favorite part, though, was how I found the updates at the bottom of the screen on the Lions game more exciting than the actual game I was watching. I can't even blame my friends this time, man, I have way more Pats fans than Lions fans on my friendslist. Maybe I lived in Detroit in a past life? Maybe I'm already oversaturated with the Patriots? Or maybe I found it easier to understand the minimal information in the little black score bar than I did the many many things happening on the rest of the screen? That's probably it. I did enjoy the little recap about Joey Harrington playing the hell out of that game, though. Go Lions?
