Man, I hate watching Varitek at bat with the bases loaded. He's never had a grand slam, and he's so aware of it. He gets all spastic and overanxious and is pretty much a guaranteed out. I hate seeing one of my favorite players look like that.

I hope he gets his grand slam one of these days, but for now I'll take that RBI he got this time around. =)

Ooh, the Angels will be in town Friday. Orlando Cabrera back in Fenway! Cannot wait to hear the cheers he'll get.

Astros win 4-3! YAY! Red Sox win 5-1! YAY! Tigers - well, it was 8-2. Better luck tomorrow, guys, plus you've got Bondo pitching!

Obvious statement: The games are more exciting when I watch them. Watched the Red Sox, and it ruled, and when it was done, the Tigers game was already over, so I pulled up the Astros and watched them win, and that was exciting too (with the bullpen making up for some of yesterday by K'ing six of the last seven batters). Since I did not get a chance to see any of the Tigers game, I did not watch them lose, so it's only a bit of a bummer instead of the total downer a loss like that is if you watch it happen.

And I just watched the Royals beat the Yankees 5-3! AHAHAHAHAHA!

The Royals, people. THE ROYALS. I'm as athletic as a piece of celery and I could beat the Royals all by myself. The Yankees, however, apparently could not.

Man oh man. That'll teach us all to assume an easy sweep. I'll just be over in the corner, dead from hilarity.
