I AM GOING TO VOMIT EVERYWHERE THAT WAS TOTAL FUCKING BULLSHIT.

I mean, Jesus. I've already said that I don't really expect the Sox to take this series, but this loss? This? Was totally preventable. It was Dale Sveum, waving home players to get tagged out by a mile. It was Terry Francona, apparently living in some fantasy world where Alan Embree can pitch. It was Alan Embree, not being able to fucking pitch.

This was not the Yankees outplaying the Red Sox. This was the Red Sox hanging themselves.

Now I can't even enjoy the fact that the Tigers beat the big scary Orioles, 4-3. Goddammit.

Also looks as though the Astros have every intention of being shut out by the Brewers. THE BREWERS. AWESOME.

On a lighter note:

Today at work this guy came in and asked me, "Is this place American-owned?"

. . . what, I live in Texas now? What the hell?

I said something like, "As far as I know," but realized afterward that the correct answer was, "Actually, sir, we're owned by the Russians."

I know, that's very eighties, but if you're going to ask a question like that, you deserve a ridiculous answer.
