Aaaaand the Astros bullpen sucks too. They lost, 6-4. I knew I wasn't comfortable with that 3-2 lead when I went to bed last night.

Well, at least they didn't lose by one run. Clemens must be ready to kill someone, though; between the bullpen and the lack of offense, he's only got one win so far this year.

Oh, SURE. The one game of the series I have to work during and I miss Bronson's most amazing start ever, and some fine pitching from Jason Johnson too. I tried to tape the game, but my VCR hates me and only taped part of it before the tape filled up. I was so careful to put it on SP too. FUCK.

Also, I somehow contrived to break the cable that connects my modem to my computer. Yeah, I don't know either. So, piggybacking on the random wireless signal for a while today until I can bestir myself to go out and get a new one.

Bah.

Was going to go to bed tonight without one last post, because there's no Red Sox night game tonight and I'm tired, but I would just like to join the rest of my friends list in exulting: Devils Rays up over the Yankees 6-2. In the ninth. So I suppose I could wait four more seconds for the game to end.

My Astros are currently behind 9-3 in the seventh. Well, at least it's not looking like a one run loss, and tonight that's good enough for me with this team. 9-3 is winceworthy, but 9-8 would be, "So what was the one thing they did wrong that could have won this thing?"

Tomorrow: Sox vs. Seattle Mariners, Tigers vs. the Angels (*snf* Cabrera).

Oh, yeah. And the Yankees have lost. Which makes three losses out of this four-game series. To the Devil Rays. I think I'll be laughing myself to sleep tonight.
