Okay, the news on suspensions for the brawl is finally in.
The Farns gets six games and a fine, Bondo gets five and a fine, and Guillen just gets fined. For the Royals, Hernandez get ten games (HAHAHA bitch), and the manager Buddy Bell gets one, since Hernandez nailed Guillen after a warning had been issued.
COME ON, don't keep us in suspense! I wanna know what happens to that rat bastard Emil Brown, whose actions during the brawl were so dispicable that nobody even knows what he did!
God, what a relief. Considering Yankee Bob Watson's track record this season with the Red Sox in contrast with his favoritism toward the Yankees, I had no idea what to expect with this. Would he come down as heavily on the Tigers as he does on the Sox, or would he actually be reasonable? Honestly, I was expecting the worst (something like ten games for the Farns and six for Bondo, and two or three for Guillen) so this is much better than I was hoping for.
This is still going to be interesting, though. Six games without not only our actual closer, but also our backup closer, and the bullpen stretched to its limits. Our bullpen has a tendency to step up when it's really needed (I was so proud when they played all nine innings after Nate's ejection), but six games in a row is gonna be rough. I am, in a twisted way, kind of looking forward to it.
Next stage: Who appeals? How long will the appeals take? Will they have any effect? It just goes on and onwithout any turns or any corners or anything!

And I bet you most, if not all, of them will appeal. So naturally Hernandez's will get knocked down to seven or eight, Bondo's to three or four, and Farnsy's to three or four or whatever. :P I hope they don't lower them on appeal.
