Hee, I just got wicked confused when I opened the play by play for the Astros game and saw Paul Quantrill's name. "What, I know I didn't click the Yankees game - oh. Oh, yeah." Oh, Paul Quantrill, now you are a bitch in San Diego instead of New York. I hope you hit the wrong guy with a pitch and he gives you the pasting Dmitri didn't have a chance to dish out.
Aaaaand Roy Oswalt pitched a complete game, which I do believe is his second of the year. My teams' pitchers rule. He gave up one run, but unlike, say, Nate Robertson, he had the offense behind him and the Astros won 4-1.
Morgan Ensberg only got a single, a double, and the one RBI, so I can totally see why he didn't make the All Star team. What a loser. *grr* Man, anyone who knows anything knows that Rolen over Ensberg is such a load of crap. It's a good thing I don't care about the ASG or I'd really be upset.
The Tigers are playing a doubleheader against the Indians today. They lost the first game, 9-3, because Jason Johnson needs to put his pants on while he's in the chat. Or something. Anyway, they are clearly never going to win another game as long as I live, but I think I'll watch the second game anyway because I do want to see Justin Verlander pitch.
The Yankees are currently contriving to irritate the shit out of me by giving up an early lead the one time I would kind of like them to hold on to it. Didn't they just play the Orioles? Do we really have to do this all over again? Heh, I just turned on my TV because I remembered the game is on ESPN and Posada is mouthing off at the homeplate umpire. I think I'll keep watching just to see if he manages to get ejected later.
Tonight: Tigers/Indians part two and Red Sox/Rangers. Hopefully, the Tigs and the Sox will remember that thing where they don't lose, because they seem to have forgotten how to do that.

What makes it even worse is that it's ROLEN who stole his AS position, who is a CARDINAL. I still spaz out when the Cardinals are mentioned thanks to the 2004 NLCS. [spaz]
