In other news, the number 33 continues to stalk me. It keeps showing up in change and such, and then today was scary.
This morning when I counted up my drawer there were 33 dimes.
Later, there was a customer wearing a hat with 33 on the side.
Then, one of my last customers of the day bought a Powerball ticket, with this little slip that he'd filled out to get the numbers he wanted.
I don't know what happened. I studied the damned thing after, and I know he filled it out correctly. He wanted two tickets, but the computer got cute and multiplied it by fifteen.
The guy got a few more tickets in addition. And the final total with the wrong Powerballs?
THIRTY-FUCKING-THREE.
