Because I work different hours every week (every day, practically), my sleep cycle is all screwed up. Functionally screwed up, I guess, because I manage it without medication and it doesn't really cause me anxiety or illness, just annoyance. So not as bad as what you've got goin' on, obviously, BUT fwiw:
Getting into some semblance of a sleep cycle is important, but if I (or circumstance) screw it up for a day here and there, it's not the end of the world. Sometimes just knowing that you CAN have a normal(ish) sleep cycle is enough to help right it again, and it sounds like you did have a normal(ish) sleep cycle for a little while, anyways. Esp. if going back on meds that helped before is still an option, you'll probably be fine.
