You guys are awesome. ♥ I had four different people text me about the Eleventh Doctor, all within like fifteen minutes of each other. (My mom, by sheer coincidence, called at around the same time. I was amused.) Thanks so much!
I have no thoughts on Matt Smith whatsoever, because I've never heard of him. And, for all that I was hoping for someone like Bill Nighy or John Simm, this is what I really wanted. I watch Doctor Who for the Doctor, not the actor who plays him, and now, for at least one more incarnation, it can stay that way. I am stoked. :D
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to wade through the wankstorm that has no doubt already touched down. Oh, fandom. I love you sometimes.
