(no subject)

I found a zombiefic prompt challenge over at juleskicks's LJ, courtesy of a link from j_crew_guy. I'm posting about it partly because it's gotten no love and there are some interesting prompts, so people should go check it out, and partly because I ended up writing my first piece of non-RPF in like two years for it.

The challenge: Doctor Who/Firefly crossover: Saffron/Rose Tyler, deceit. I just couldn't resist.

I just started watching Doctor Who (I'm up to the second episode in series two), and I haven't seen Firefly for some time, so I'm not sure about the characterizations here. Any thoughts on that from fans of either show would be appreciated.
