I should have known when I signed up for the Yankees mailing list (eye on the enemy, you know) that it could only bring pain. I have a very big bottle of beer. I shall commence drinking it posthaste.

"I just wanted to go to a team that was competing to win," Farnsworth said. "Closing, I've always wanted to do that, but at the same time, I wanted to be on a team and help it win whether I start, set up or whatever. The main thing was to be on a team that wins."

HAVE YOU PAID ANY ATTENTION IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS, YOU FUCKING TOOL?! THE YANKEES ARE IN A STATE OF DECLINE BROUGHT ON BY PLUNDERING THEIR SO-CALLED FARM SYSTEM AND SIGNING AGING SUPERSTARS FOR WAY TOO LONG!!

DOES ANYBODY EVEN WATCH THE YANKEES ANYMORE? BECAUSE IT SOUNDS TO ME THAT A CERTAIN RELIEF PITCHER WHO IS FUCKING DEAD TO ME LAST CAUGHT A YANKEES GAME SOMETIME IN 2000.

I hope the Yankees get to the postseason. I hope they get there, and I hope that in a crucial game, Farnsworth melts down in a way that makes 2003 and 2005 look like fucking peanuts.

Fuck you, Farnsworth. FUCK. YOU.

I have a new angry icon. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] piney61 for linking me to the pic.

So, uh, GIP. Whatever that stands for. (What does it stand for?)

Oh, yeah, and technically the caption is a modified quote from Boondock Saints (Rocco: "How did you two fucking - fucks . . . FUCK!") but, uh, you can't really tell.

Yeah, so lost in my fury last night was the fact that my work schedule next week is cut down to four days. Oh hell no. I am not playing this game again. I was at four days for a long time this summer, and even spent a month at three. I'm not doing it again. I'd rather quit and take my chances with the job market. I am this fucking close.

We are all required to work on Christmas. I flat-out fucking refuse to be around to work by then. That is the most important day of the year to my family, and when I told my mom this morning, she was pissed because this year she had it arranged so that she would not have to leave the house on Christmas.

Chances I will give my two weeks' notice today: 90%.
