A few random things.
* Aw man,Mr Miyagi Pat Morita is dead. He was definitely one of those celebrities who should not be allowed to die. It's just wrong.
* I am informed by a Red Sox mailing that the Beckett deal is official, plus we got a reliever (Guillermo Mota) in exchange for throwing in another prospect. A RELIEVER YAY. I never forget the misery that was the 2005 Red Sox bullpen.
* I kind of wish I had today off so I could go to the mall, get an ice cream soda, and just sit and watch the shoppers run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Why anyone would deliberately go out shopping today, I do not understand.
