So what sucks more? Losing 3-1 to the Devil Rays? Or getting a dominating performance out of your starter in his third major league start of the year, and against the White Sox no less, only to see the bullpen turn a 4-1 lead into a 7-5 loss?
I don't even feel like outlining the drama in the Red Sox game. Even though Manny randomly disappearing into the Green Monster during an inning is the cutest thing ever, and watching Schilling blow a gasket is almost as entertaining as watching Piniella blow two, and I have a distinct feeling that I'm going to get two brawls in one week.
At least the Astros won 11-1. Go Brandon Backe!
I am suddenly working tomorrow. I will have to watch The Brawl a couple of times to perk myself up before I go. And then spend the shift reminding myself not to go Farnsworth on the sucky customers.
