Well, yay for the Yankees, they - didn't get swept by the Mets. ooo. Final score: 5-4? Maybe? Something.
And silly Mets, wasting the comedy gold Yankees defense in the seventh inning. It went thusly:
* A walk from Randy Johnson with a wild fourth pitch, letting a guy up to second.
* An error allowing a run to score.
* Pitching change.
* Giambi makes a shit throw to Gordon that Gordon can't hold onto, allowing TWO runs to score and letting the batter he should've had out get to second while Gordon scrambles around to get the ball back into play.
WOOOOOOW.
I was dying. It was fantastic. Sheffield's ejection was pretty good, too, and I have to be impressed with that ump, because if I ever had Gary Sheffield screaming in my face I would pee myself. He's scary.
