Have crunched numbers and concluded that I can afford a month's worth of MLBTV. Am watching Tigers. =D Tuned in JUST IN TIME to see Pudge get pulled for an injury. Uh-oh.

Edited several innings later: AND NOW DMITRI AUGH. This game totally sucks. Two injuries and I don't even wanna talk about the score and it's only the seventh inning. And they totally just scored their second run. Yay.

Dear Red Sox,

Losing one run games in the Astros' job. Occasionally, it's the Tigers'. Not yours. I do not want to see this nonsense again.

Annoyed love,
Cathryn

Dear Tino Martinez,

SHUT UP.

Hate,
Cathryn

Tigers lose, Red Sox lose, Yankees win. The Astros better come through for me or I will cry myself to sleep.

I love my MLBTV, though. I have already watched way too much baseball today, and I still have one more game to go. This is fun. =D

Another reason to love MLBTV:

When I clicked onto the Astros game, it cheerfully informed me that the game was restricted due to its airing nationally. So I applied logic and concluded that since I am in the nation, and I have cable, I would be able to find it on TV somewhere. So I looked and discovered that the game is airing on ESPN. So now I get to watch my Astros on TV in full size, and I never would have thought to look without MLBTV. So, thanks MLBTV!

Go Astros!

OH MY GOD ASTROS.

This game was freaking awesome. I'm so glad I got to see it.

Brandon Backe was incredible. He pitched his first complete game, which also happened to be a shut-out, only giving up four hits. Even though the stupid fucking ESPN announcers did their very best to jinx it by saying "shutout" like four times in five minutes during the eighth and ninth innings. Hah. Meanwhile, Morgan Ensberg and his adorable highlighted Californian hair were running around getting three homeruns, the first one of which was a three-run homer. He got a curtain call after the last one. There was gorgeous defense and lots of hitting and oh my god what a game. Final score: NINE to ZERO. GO ASTROS I LOVE YOU.
