Date: 2008-05-04 11:31 pm (UTC)I'm a little sorry that they went with Iron Monger as the villain so early, because I think it's kind of important that Stane be around when Tony's alcoholism really kicks in. That said, I think the sequel is going to address THAT storyline, given Rhodey's 'Next time' when he was left alone with the spare suit. (Rhodey ends up taking over as Iron Man because Tony's too unutterably fucked up to handle it.) That said, the bumper at the end suggests another direction which MAKES ME SQUEEFUL.
